If you need help getting those intimate photos or videos you don't want to see online removed, you can contact Take it Down! to help you do that. On this secure page, you can upload a picture or video of yourself in an intimate position and the system will create a special hash of it, but the picture itself will not be saved. The imprint allows social networking sites (e.g. Facebook, TikTok) to identify the image and, if it appears there, it will be removed immediately.

This is how you can report:

  1. Visit the website https://tidstart.ncmec.org/case/create?lang=en-us
  2. In the first question (What is your age in the image(s)/video(s) you want to submit?), select the option that you are under 18.
  3. The second question asks whether you are naked, partially naked or in a sexual position. (Please verify that your images and videos include nude, partially nude or sexually explicit content.)
  4. You will then need to provide information on whether the recording has already been shared online (Have any of your intimate image(s)/video(s) already been shared online?)
  5. Then click Next to see the page where you can upload your recording. Once the photos have been uploaded, click Next again and you'll be taken to the page where you can finalise your submission.
  6. Click on Submit to send the report.
